Michael Cohen is president, CEO and managing partner of The DBL Center, a wholesale general agency based in Melville, NY, and serving insurance brokers nationwide.

Recognized as a growth leader in the required disability, paid family leave and ancillary benefits industry, since 2004 Michael Cohen has helped thousands of brokers save money for their clients while growing their book of business.

Through relationships with top-rated insurance carriers, Cohen and his team help clients privatize statutory benefits like DBL, TDB, TDI and PFML for better service and cost savings. They can roll that savings into employer paid and voluntary benefits that boost worker satisfaction and productivity.

Working closely with a best-in-class development team, Cohen launched the Broker Dashboard: Net Revenue Tracker, the only platform that helps ancillary benefits brokers track renewals, cancellations and commissions in real-time from desktop or mobile.

Cohen graduated from Boston University with a degree in film and television, working as a producer, writer and stand-up comedian.

Today, he blends his passion for entertainment with his insurance industry experience to run The DBL Center, a wholesale general agency that delivers white-glove, personalized service across all 50 states.
